| Name: Ethan Slayton Occupation: Freelance illustrator and struggling self-publisher Stuff you have done: Illustrated role-playing books for AEG. Did some medieval stuff an some spy stuff. Mike Sellers inked over all my pencils for those jobs. He's an inker from way back who has done work on the X-men and other fine comics. We had a lot of fun and I learned quite a bit about the industry and some things I need to correct about my own work ethics. All in all, a good learning experiance. I've self-published one comic book and Im on the road to doing a few more. Maybe a few Graphic Novels or something. It looks like Ill be working with my Dad (who is a writer) on one of the G.N. ideas. He's someone whom Ive wanted to work with for some time now so I'm super psyched about that. A good friend of mine, Mark Austin, who is also a writer, will be working with me on one of the G.N. ideas as well. And some super secret, hush hush work that my pal Mike Sellers and I have been workin on looks like it may see the light of day sometime along the line(Maybe this year? I hope, I hope!!) Favorite fine artist: Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso and all of the Wyeths. Favorite Author: Stephen King. I'm a horror junkie from waaaaaay back. Favorite music to listen to while working at 2 A.M.: Heavy/thrash metal.Metallica, Alice in Chains, Taproot Favorite munchie at 2 A.M. : bite size chocolate chip cookies an milk Things you collect: Dust, comic books, toys, music, movies, books, Native American art, glass work, kaliedoscopes (if and when I have the money!)
